For what reason do we write letters, articles, and books, exposing darkness and revealing the truth which God spoke; and by whose authority and influence do we write? We do not contend for the faith on our own initiative, but the Father Himself, who teaches us, has given us commandment about what to write. And we know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things we speak, we speak just as our Father has taught us (John 6:44, 45; 12:49, 50).
“Go therefore and make disciples…teaching them to observe all that I commanded you… ” (Matthew 28:19, 20).
We teach this: “If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14:15).
The gospel taught by Christendom today is a doctrine taught by demons – it does not teach or require that we keep God’s commandments. Instead, today’s gospel allows lawbreaking to continue while giving assurance of eternal life. All lawbreaking is against God’s will – His commandments. Christ Jesus came to save us from breaking God’s Law and from His wrath, by teaching us the way to overcome sin – restoring us once again to the nature of God. This is the purpose and outcome of the Law and the Gospel (see the Gospel at Titus 2:11-15). The man, who receives the Gospel which Jesus Christ taught, will become like Him during his stay upon this earth (1 Timothy 6:13,14; 2 Peter 3:13,14).
Therefore, imitating Christ as good stewards of God’s Word, we expose darkness, especially that found within the church. Today, Christendom is being tossed here and there by deceitful, contrary doctrines, taught by deluded men with selfish ambition, blinded to the craftiness of Satan. Friend, these are the last days; wicked deception is seducing the church and she is perishing! Because the apostate church refuses to love the Truth that she might be saved, God has given her over to a deluded mind. Holding only to a form of godliness, she denies the power of God to make her godly. But in opposition to this false way, we exhort you through Scripture to grow up in all aspects into the nature and character of Christ – true godliness.
Through God’s divine power and His exceedingly great promises, each individual who receives the true Gospel does their part to promote godliness within their own heart and within the true church, until the true body, fully formed in the image of Christ, is built up in love. “By this, love is perfected with us, that we may have confidence in the day of judgment, because as He is, so also are we in this world” (1 John 4:17).
Therefore, if any among you strays from the Gospel or has received a contrary gospel, and a good steward turns him back from his delusion, the repentant man’s sins will be washed away and his soul will be saved from death (hell) (James 5:19, 20).
As part of the remnant church, we are purifying ourselves and encouraging you to do the same: “And everyone who has their hope fixed on Him (on being like Jesus Christ when He appears), purifies himself, just as He is pure” (1 John 3:2,3).
Accordingly, our mission is to exhort you for your encouragement, consolation, upbuilding, and constructive spiritual progress, until Christ is fully formed in you.
